MORE TEACHERS FOR OUR CHILDREN

The previous Liberal Government let teacher vacancies reach unprecedented levels due to the lack of support for our teachers and schools that meant kids were spending too much time either in overcrowded classes or not undertaking lessons at all.

We are making sure our kids' time in the classroom is well spent by reducing the number of vacancies by
94 per cent across Heathcote, meaning our kids are spending more time learning in class and receiving more one-on-one attention from their teachers. 

BETTER SCHOOLS ACROSS HEATHCOTE

We’re delivering new school halls at Heathcote High School and Sutherland Public School. 

We’ve been improving public schools including Bundeena, Coledale, Cook School, Engadine, Helensburgh, Loftus, Minerva School, Otford, Sutherland North, Thirroul, Woronora River and Yarrawarrah. And, we’ve been improving high schools including Engadine and Heathcote. 

Rebuilding our education system takes time but we are committed to getting the job done.
