We listened, proposed new timetable scrapped

In case you’ve missed it, I am pleased to inform you that the Chris Minns State Labor Government has listened to our community and will not proceed with the proposed November timetable changes for the T4, T8 and South Coast line.

Thank you to everyone in our community who spoke to me about these changes.

I spoke directly to the Premier and Transport Minister over the last two weeks and want to thank them for listening to our community.

Putting reliability first

For 12 years the former Liberal Government did not invest in our heavy rail train service.

Under Premier Chris Minns and his Labor Government, we’re investing $2.1 billion in rail maintenance and incident response to improve reliability for all commuters.

This is so you can spend less time commuting and have more time at home for the things that matter.

There's more work to do, but I'll keep working with Premier Chris Minns to make life easier for families across our community.
