PCYC Bulli has received a significant upgrade to its exterior through a $20,000 grant secured by Maryanne Stuart MP, Member for Heathcote.

The funds were secured through the Local Small Commitment Allocation (LSCA), a $37.2 million grants program managed by the NSW Government. The program provides benefits to local communities and councils through a range of capital works, services and programs, events, supplies and equipment, charitable donations, and playground and park upgrades.

The program allowed the PCYC (Police Citizens Youth Club) in Bulli to receive a fresh exterior coat of paint and a mural that create a modern and exciting new look for the facility.

The PCYC provides a range of programs that aim to give young people practical, real life skills that they can apply to work, family and their community. These include:

  • the Rise Up programs, which work with the NSW Police Force to counter the impact of juvenile offending.
  • the Safer Driver Course, which help learner drivers to reduce road risks and prevent accidents.
  • sporting activities, such as boxing, gymnastics, basketball and martial arts programs.
