Heathcote MP Maryanne Stuart has welcomed the allocation of seven new Probationary Constables to the Police Area Commands and Police Districts covering the Heathcote electorate.

The Probationary Constables were part of Class 359, which graduated from the Goulburn Police Academy in August 2023.

Heathcote MP Maryanne Stuart said:

“Our police officers put themselves in harm's way for us each and every day. Their hard work and determination to make this State a safer place is truly admirable. I thank their families too for supporting them in their job, it’s not easy,” she said.

“I want to thank these new Constables for putting their hand up to serve their community in this way.

“I look forward to working with the new officers and their teams to ensure that this community is kept safe and secure. Thank you again and welcome!”
