Geoff and Karyn's Sandwich Shop has been a mainstay of the Engadine community and, after 30 years, Geoff and Karyn have closed the shutters to retire. Their shop had the old-school charm that only veterans of three decades in the industry can offer. Prices of sandwiches were engraved in chalk on a blackboard that sat above a stainless steel and glass refrigerated cabinet. Behind the counter were Geoff and Karyn, warmly greeting each customer and providing exceptional and quick service. Their shop managed to stave off the significant financial burden of the COVID pandemic and lockdown, and they employed locals to serve the steady stream of customers lined up out the door at lunchtime. Many in the community are going to miss their fresh homemade sandwiches, burgers and excellent coffee. Geoff and Karyn, we wish you both the very best in your retirement and thank you for feeding the Engadine community for three decades.
