I congratulate the outstanding Heathcote electorate locals who were recognised in the 2024 King's Birthday Honours List: Professor Lisa Kervin, Professor Kathleen Eagar, Professor Kathleen Clapham, Ms Fiona Shewring and Dr Jodie Ward. I am so proud to have so many outstanding individuals living in our electorate. Professor Lisa Kervin is appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to tertiary education and to research in early childhood digital literacy. Professor Kathleen Eagar is appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to community through health services research and development, and as a mentor. Professor Kathleen Clapham is appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to Indigenous community health, to anthropology and to tertiary education. Ms Fiona Shewring was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the building and construction industry. Dr Jodie Ward was awarded the Public Service Medal. I thank those wonderful locals for their community service and congratulate them on behalf of the Heathcote electorate.
