Platypuses rehomed at Royal National Park

That this House:

(1) Notes that ten platypuses were rehomed in the Royal National Park earlier this year.

(2) Acknowledges platypuses had not inhabited the Royal National Park for over 50 years.

(3) Recognises all ten platypuses are still active in the Hacking River and Kangaroo Creek and are being monitored through acoustic tags that are collected every three to four weeks.

(4) Thanks all those involved in the project, particularly researchers and UNSW.
