(1) Condemns the former Government for one of their worst fiscal abominations in failing to provide ongoing funding beyond 2024 for over 1,110 nurse positions.

(2) Notes that of these positions, 104 are in the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District in the northern end of the Heathcote electorate.

(3) Congratulates the Government for investing in our health workers, progressing the roll out of safe staffing levels, boosting the number of regional paramedics, scrapping the public sector wages cap, and focusing on recruiting and retaining more skilled health workers.
